Is this going to continue to be an "i'm in" thread or does someone actually have a plan here?

Here is the link from last years F8x winter group buy:

http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1307137

Were people that bought last year happy with their purchase?

Looks like they went with the APEX wheel company and there was a 30 order minimum to get the discount rate.

I'm definitely interested. I just finished reading last years group buy thread and they got 30 participants fairly easy. When would we start taking pledges?

I believe this is the link that Apex uses for their group buys. We can start one here if we get in contact with them.

I just contacted Apex as there's an active group buy for the EC-7 in 18" but no winter tire option. I asked if they can include the winter tires on the active buy or start a new one.

They also already have 30 members. It's probably a long shot but can't hurt to try.

There will be a group buy going live in two weeks for the ec-7 winter set up. I'll post a link if no one else does it first.

Go for the satin black finish, looks killer on BSM

I think most people opt for a square setup.

Im in.. If Apex doesnt work out, How bout getting a discount on BMW's 640m winter pkg... Part Numbers:

M2 Front: 36112448386
M2 Rear: 36112448387

the pkg costs about $2200 from ECS tuning as well as GetBmwParts

Included are the 4 wheels with Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 , balancing, and I believe TPMS sensors although not positive about that. My dealer has the package for about $2500.

With BMW wheels, we dont have to hassle with the wheel centering rings required for most tire rack wheels that are not hubcentric for our application.

I believe its either 36106881890 or 36106856209.. one replaced the other.

I forgot what I chose on the apex site; I just picked one as a place holder, but we cant edit our choices from what I can tell, so obviously it will be come more of an issue if this actually becomes a buy, which I hope it does... Best price for the best setup Ive seen yet.

If you go to the group buy web site, you can see the all the member size choices. Most are going with the 18x9 ET31 square setup.
