I don't think it is camera angle. Even the other pic showing more of the entire rear makes it appear as though the tips are uneven. |

The one tip on the passenger side is not on all the way.

Seems like a lot of companies do this. They take off options that normally increase the price then decrease their cost of production. Then they charge even more for the option-less cheaped out car. All in the name of questionable performance gains or uniqueness. Guess it makes sense to 150 people. To each his own.
Maybe thats why it's limited production |

I'm all for limited edition cars when they make sense, but this doesn't.
1. You can outfit any M2 with these M performance parts 2. Eliminating power and heated seats, a decent stereo, and dual climate control shaves less than 40 lbs, which is insignificant on a car that weighs 3400lbs to begin with. 3. It only comes in white 4. No hp gain 5. No meaningful change to the exterior/interior appearance Can someone/anyone please explain how this car is better than a standard M2? Aside from a VERY small weight savings, I just don't get it. |

straight from the factory with the coilovers and exhaust. Don't have to mess around with adding it later. Honestly the M2 should have always had coilovers. But at $60k, should prove to be a great track day toy. Quote:
Yes sir. thank you not sure but we plan to weigh them side by side and share the information. |

So what would be the price difference if one was to install these M performance parts on a regular M2?

It doesn't. You pay more and get less features

Not enough to offset the extra aerodynamic drag of M Mirrors.
Best to leave those off.

LOL.
I was looking at the included equipment and it just boggles my mind that only 150 M2 in the Unites states have MANUAL SEATS and they are all in this edition. For that reason alone.. plus M performance coilovers installed... as a track ready version.. these certainly have more kit than say... an E90 M3 Lime Rock Edition... Quote:
Look again at most of your fellow M2 owners. The majority of them have the following priorities.. " M mirrors" CF trim like the F8x M3/M4 more luxurious interior like the F8x M3/M4 concerned about the ride being " too firm" daily driver creature comforts like Apple Carplay Just sayin.. you are one of the few purchasing the car for primary usage as a track day toy. It's also exactly why this edition is perfect for you and why 90 percent of the people posting about your car will say it's a poor value in their mind.. and they all do so rather loudly..
