Alcántara Roof

I'm thinking about modifying the liner in my m2.

Any thoughts on adding AlcÃ¡ntara and anyone sharing the pros and cons.

I just ask I don't like messing with oem parts that much

Will be much simpler without a moon roof.

Pros: You can sit on your roof from the inside and have great bolstering.

Cons: That $$$ could have been spent on performance mods instead.

Hmm... It looks kind of cool, but I imagine it's probably more of a pain to maintain, alcantara does all that weird stuff with the patterns. Id say if you were going to do it, definitely go all out with the visors and everything. But I think I would rather have a carbon fiber roof over an alcantara liner.

For our cars yes, but for an E30/E36 I think it would be awesome. Very 80/90's appropriate.
