First letter of names on phone calls are cut off

iDrive versions don't go up incrementally. They move up by full numbers: ID4, ID5, ID6.
There isn't going to be a 6.0, and then a 6.1,6.2, 6.3 etc.
You can just say iDrive 6 or ID6 and everyone will know what you mean.

That being said your iDrive hardware isn't the only relevant piece of info to share when you experience problems like these.
Normally what's most useful is to share what istep software version you're running. It will be called NBTevo_etc.

Then people with the same istep version can tell you if they're experiencing the same issue or not and you can narrow it down to your car or phone and find the appropriate actions to take from there.
