M Performance Wingletts Fitment

Has anyone here fitted there own M Performance Winglets? I have just been quoted 300 euro + VAT to have a dealer fit both front and rear sets.

I just wondered how easy it was to fit them myself, do you have to drill any body panels or just remove the old rivets and replace the new ones?

It was quite easy. Beside reusing factory pins and glueing you have to drill 5 holes each side, but into plastic so not a big effort.

What glue did you use? Is there any YouTube info on reusing the pins?

I think the adhesive is already pre-applied to the piece. If not it should be some of that 3M automotive adhesive probably.

There was some two sided tape on them when they arrived. I had dealer install (along with a bunch of other stuff) but they mentioned something about adding some additional adhesive (urethane if i recall) to these pieces and the front lip to make sure they aren't going anywhere.
