The back of my car right now looks exactly like yours, including all custom parts.

These are arriving by the end of the week:

I am on a mission to get rid of all chrome.

Can't wait to see it, it will help make a decision! Black is leading the poll but carbon tips are making a come back!

Nice looks great! I am kind of in a holding pattern right now on the exhaust tips. Just undecided and have not really put much thought into it. I almost want to wait for the M2 Comp to be announced before I spend more money, but even if I got one it would be like a year+ from now anyway.

I'm also considering how much more mods to do, especially mechanical. I'm number 12 on my dealer's CS list which means another 1.5 years at least.

I'm on that same mission. Once mine come in they are the last piece to my cosmetic puzzle.

I might wait until April to make a decision.

Apologize for being off topic but are you all replacing the tips yourselves or having dealer do it? I plan on getting the slash cut M3/4 tips pictures in this thread if it makes a difference.

I did it myself. I tried all methods on removing them including a puller, which worked for all but one of them. In the end a strap wrench got the last one off, and to be honest I should have tried it from the beginning. Use WD40 and a decent strap wrench and you should have an easy go of it.

I also used the IND Black Chrome angled tips for my install.

I am puzzled why people keep the license plate frame to advertise for the dealer. If they want to put one on my M2 they'll pay me for the advertising. I like the black tips and no license plate frame.

I am sorry, but these look awful. 1, I can see the tailpipes inside the tips and 2. I can see your clamps.

It's because he pulled them out too far.

They're supposed to be lined up like this:

After they get some use and are dirtier on the inside you wont be able to see where they meet:

As mentioned above, you can't see the tailpipes anymore, as they are now black.

Did a bad photoshop of what I think black chrome CYBA tips would look like on a similar car. Added RKP spoiler in photoshop.

Went with the matte black tips from Active Autowerke. With everything else being shiny, the matte is a subtle contrast.
