M2 Gets Painted British Racing Green

What a gorgeous color. Funny how some colors look better on certain models. This one hits it out of the park.

Not my cup of tea either. A couple of noteworthy observations though- one as others have stated, change the color completely, definitely in the engine bay or it devalues the work. They pulled the glass, but not the engine. Although the glass removal was likely only for roof replacement. Next the tape between the bumper and the fender is going to ruin the clear coat. You can't apply tape like that without damage occurring on fresh paint.

Love it! As someone who started out with a Crimson Red 328, then an Estoril Blue 435, I recently got off the leasing merry-go-round and acquired a lovely Deep Green Metallic 2007 Z4. I feel so grown up. Or so British, not sure which.

I for one am glad to see someone go the paint route. The availability of wraps these days has given birth to abominations and let those without taste really exemplify their gaudiness. Just think of all the Japanese cars at you local car meet with matte pearl, sparkling green, or whatever today's flavor of look at me is. (BMW owners aren't free from this either)

While a simulacra to those in the know, wraps devalue the aesthetic value of getting a paint job or individual option done. I could imagine a Fire Orange M4 owner feeling much annoyance as well as smugness if a guy in an orange wrap parked beside him.
