I'm not the OP I bought the RKP diffuser, sorry. The ebay one is cheaper for sure. The RKP might be the next cheapest option.

Sorry, meant to quote m2ruder - RKP = $850 - you can get the OEM BMW M Performance for $880

Which I still find absolutely ridiculous for a non-functional part.

$300-400 seems about right which is what they are selling on Ebay for

Do you have any pictures of this diffuser on your car? It appears that the ebay guy stole images from IND

Does anyone know what the 2 plastic pieces inside the stock diffuser are for? Both came crashing on the floor as I pulled the diffuser out.

Yes...they are for the garbage can. They are pieces to lock/hold in place the stock diffuser tabs. They are what most have a hard time taking the stock diffuser off. Mine was a royal PITA

I think it is due to not being carbon and prolly to be on car for long period of time. I do not understand why they just didn't do it the same as the F80/82....way less complicated. All I know is I am not putting it back on

You can't fault real OEM fit and finish, but there are many other suppliers offering well engineered, high quality real cf parts, the down side is they are not cheap.
Ask anyone if their wives would be ok with a gold plated engagement ring as opposed to the real deal, real cf verses the cheap stuff is the same theory applied to guys.
Show me a wife than can tell the difference. That is why these sell.
