thanks for that, there are 2 resellers at the moment near Geneva telling me the b16 don't age well in comparisson to the Kwv3's ? They've had to re-thread the tubes after only 1year... Do you notice any strange wear on yours?
Im all for bilstein as the upside down technology is clearly very appealing, the ease of setting seems with no competition at the moment. Looking at ordering from track-parts.ch or lightweight in Germany

So far, I have no problems with my B16.
It works in a very sensitive way and the setup is also verz easy.
But I will keep you updated and if there should be anz problems, I will mention them in this threat.

I recommend Lightweight in Germany, of course, if you want to place an order.
Marc Mueller definetly has the best experiences with Bilstein coilovers.

I personally don't like the standard suspension, because it is very stiff and therefor you get a lot of traction problems. Of course, this is some kind of the orginal M2-character: less traction and a very light back. But if you want to use the car right, you need more traction on the rear. And that's why I am very confident having the B16 installed. It offers you much more traction than the standard suspension.

Also i wanted to ask, does your car 'drone' with the Akra Exhaust and HJS Downpipe? And have you modified the engine tune? Or installed a chip?

I am loo king at buying the Remus cat back and the Remus 200 cell High flow downpipe, Just wasn't sure if it's safe to do this with a stock car or if it has to be tuned ?

I don't have any problems concerning a drone sound with the HJS 300 cell and the Akrapovic. I don't use a tune or any Kind of software modification.

By the way, I highly recommend the REMUS System. It is very well build and has a very good sound! I think, that you won't have any problems with a sports cat - but I don't know the Remus cat personally. All German manufacturers actually are using 300 cell catalytic converters. Also Wagner has changed from 200cell to 300cell. But as I said - I don't really have the experiences with the Remus downpipe.

It says on the Remus website that their downpipe is 200 cell. Just has me worried that it might drone.

Sorry in regards to the Bilstein B16, can you make it ride as comfortable as standard when lowered?

I don't think, that you will Problems with droning. Only the M Performance exhaust System has a real issue with that.

Regarding die B16, you can definetly find an even more comfortable Setup than the Standard Suspension.

Yeah so you have the B16 pss10 kit? Does it have one dial for bump/rebound?

What settings do you run yours in when you want it comfortable?

So - I'm finally home now and can tell you in detail about my day today.

The plan was to replace my steering wheel with the one from the M4 GTS just like IND has done it in their "Gelbgrün" project. Also a new bezel, the red start button and shift gate, and the handbrake handle has to be replaced with M Performance parts.

Since my car is still in Andernach, I've packed all my stuff and I'm driven there.

By the way: working in a garage is really a lot more fun than in the local garage at home ...
I appreciated that very much.

But before I started, I had another assignment: Brake in the new brake pads

We already installed the PAGID RSL29 the day before - but had not driven yet.
This was my first ride in 2018 with Little Blue - and it was AWESOME!
Sound, steering, car and the new brake were a pleasure.
I purposely say new brake: with the RSL29, the Brembo feels so awesome!
Hope my enthusiasm is visible here.
Gorgeous bite-resistant, steadfast, linear, and only minimally squeaky.

I did not know what I wanted to do: slow down or accelerate - or drift ...
The M2 is so gorgeous.
And the sound from the Akra - BEAUTIFUL !!

After my little lap, it went to the interior.
I first disconnected the negative pole of the battery.
For safety also the plus.
Then leave the trunk open, otherwise it will be difficult without power to reconnect the battery.

Then first I removed the steering wheel.
Without steering wheel it works much better in the interior...
That's why I first installed the red start button.
For this, the entire switching unit leveraged out, button changed and everything back.
Then the floor setting of the switching unit changed to Alcantara, in order to then continue with the selector lever.
As you know, that is a bit tricky.
But with patience that was also changed.
Handbrake handle needs a little more force.
But was not a problem.

Then the steering wheel had to be rebuilt.
I'll tell you right away: the first time you do that, the cables can confuse you a bit.
For this I know for the second time now ...
What I've noticed: the open-pore Carbon Blend is a bit stiffer than the series aperture, which is probably due to the carbon fiber.
So do not be surprised if you are a bit quarrelsome about the accuracy.

Your car looks excellent Chris, really enjoying the mod journey.

I have ordered a set of B16’s for my M2 too, looking forward to getting them on. In terms of settings how are you currently set up? My plan is to set them in the middle and adjust as I get more time with them.

My M2 got a few more modifications during the early spring.
I finally chose the 20 Inch HRE RC100 wheel.
And I decided to make a few more cosmetics on the center panel
