I'll take some photos now on a stock color. Lip is super clean and the lower splitter will be optional.

Shape is 100% the same but the material is different. Fiberglass vs. Carbon.

IND does provide M2 owners with great options to upgrade our cars....but I would really like to see some functional testing on the aero parts. Just a few wind tunnel hours to go from stock to splitters to spoilers to wings. This will allow us track junkies to spend money on looks and function.

There are less expensive options that will require some customization but they look good.

Looks good, but it requires some creativity. I purchased my from another person for $125 plus $50 that I expense modifications.

An APR performance front lip is a cheap way to get a functional front lip. As of right now there isn't one specifically for the M2, but I imagine there will be. Could also look into using the M4 front lip, as it doesn't follow the the shape of the bumper particularly. They have universal splitters that are functional.
Other than that, you could have a local race shop make you one custom. Most good race shops do composite work, by nature. I personally would go this route, or the Lightweight lip, as I prefer a more "piece to complete the whole" vs statement piece. When it comes to bodywork/aero, I ALWAYS prefer a minimalist approach, more an OEM+, unless I'm building for functionality, in which case I view "form" a result of "function". |
