Hmm... I might actually go for that. I wanted the performance steering wheel, but the biggest draw for me is the blue stripe, which this has, for a fraction of the price.

Did you install it yourself? The description mentions that you have to sow it on and use adhesive? How difficult was it to install?

Well, Alcantara is synthetic suede, so the question should be; Is this real suede?

Honestly, I'm not sure I care. It's a fraction of the M Performance steering wheel, that I wanted. And my main complaint from that, was the alcantara. It even seems they make a version with just leather, so if I ever have the time to install this, I think I would take the shot.

i tried that once, for the life of me i cant get the spoke to fit properly.. would always end up with a air bubble..

I messaged the seller to see if I could order it without the suede and just perforated leather with the blue marker on top. If it can be done, I think I'm in for $50 dollars and free shipping. Might take a few hours to install but I think it's worth it.

The thing I most wanted from the M Performance wheel is the blue marker anyway.

It took me 3 hour. These are some of the things that I recommend to do in order to make your installation easy.

Do not use the tape if you what to preserve your OM stirring.
Remove the airbag and the stirring front cover. (Super Easy)
First align the blue trip with the center and tide with a string

Well, wish me luck. I placed my order today, should be here in a couple of weeks probably. Went with perforated leather, blue marker and tri-color stitching which is exactly what I wanted. Hopefully not too bad to install once it gets here.

also remember to disconnect the battery when remving the airbag!

I'm currently stuck with an error the dealer will have to remove (?) caus I forgot

I did a bit more research on the MEWANT product and seems like it's quality leather and product, despite the looks of their site. So I went with that for the money. Plus I kinda like the idea of stitching it myself.
