I installed the Eibach springs for about a month and there are ticking noise from turning the wheel. It just happens whenever I turn the wheel, just want to see if anyone experience the same.

Has anyone gotten another wheel alignment after the springs settled in? I'm wondering when will be the next best time to get an alignment again.

I have,

LHR camber was -2.1 degrees, I dialed it back to stock ~-1.3.

RHR camber had no issues at all weirdly, stayed at -1.3

Had Eibach's and 10mm Turner spacers installed Just before Christmas.

Not had the chance to drive the car much as I broke my right foot on Christmas Eve! On the way to the pub!

But initial impressions are excellent, the car feels very planted and more secure. I am actually surprised at how much difference these small modifications have made to the dynamics of the car. Having done this type of mod many times to different cars over the years, the M2 has responded the best out of the lot of them.

Before the Eibachs, the car had a tendency to wallow a little bit, I kept on having to feed small steering inputs to smooth out this wallowing type movement. Had the alignment checked before I had the Eibachs installed to rule it out, but it was fine when checked. But since the Eibachs and spacers, this characteristic is no longer apparent.

Along with the install of the RS29 pads all round, my M2 is indeed a different car to drive. It now has a more motorsport type feel rather than a fast road.

Highly recommend the Eibachs and spacers to anyone considering doing it. Best mod I have done to date.

I’d be interested to hear how the Eibach and spacers setup is after several months. Still happy with it or did you make changes? Profile (side) pictures now that it has fully settled in would be great too.

Finally got around to installing the springs. Problem is the rear drivers side sits about 1/2" lower than passenger side. Install been rechecked.
Any ideas?
I did reach out to the authorized seller. Was told something to the effect, 'it's a known Bmw issue that ride height can vary'. I'm not buying it though.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Update- confirmed with eibach that there can be differences in ride height left vs right but definitely 1/2" would be way out of spec. Rechecked install again and after some settling, the difference is now within spec. I will swap from drivers side to passenger-side. With my weight they should both equalize.

I find it very close to stock under civil driving conditions. Tad stiffer. At speed, on a shitty road, the car dances around noticeably more however..which is to be expected.

Installed today the pro-kit from Eibach. Couldn't be happier!!! ***EDIT: not happy at all, see my post on next page -->244***

The drop is perfect in my case, not too much to make it ricer but just enough to eliminate the noticeable wheel gap.

I have driven it around for a bit and the comfort at city speeds is IDENTICAL as the original setup when going over bumps, but you can notice the car is more planted and I personally feel a nicer steering feedback (harder). Body roll is reduced.

When going at highway speeds and hitting road imperfections you can feel is a tad stiffer than stock and doesn't wobble as much.

Overall I think is the best choice if you want a mild drop without compromising the ride comfort.

***EDIT: Disregard all of this, see my post on next page --> 244***

Alby thanks for posting your experience and pictures. Did you measure the before and after? I’d be interested to see how much it settles after you’ve driven it a week.

No problem!! Didn't measure it unfortunately but seems like the 20/25mm drop advertised is pretty accurate. I'll measure now and again in few weeks to see if it settles a little lower

100% happy. After over a year with them on.

Car sits lower but rides just like stock after putting some miles on the setup. Love it.

Had the Eibachs installed Saturday and am very pleased with the look. Only highway driving so far but it seems to ride pretty close to stock. Will take it out on some twisties next weekend.
