Camber Plate Alignment

Those that have gone with camber plates - any issues with alignment (uniform Left/Right camber)? I have heard they have to put the rear in the air and do an initial alignment before loading the suspension (per BMW factory process). I've run into some challenges

Thanks!!

Appears all BMWs - looked at the 2/3/5 series boards have variation in front alignment car to car. Given it's purely mechanical/inherent (no adjustment for front camber w/out adding camber plates) - it's a combination of toe and toe/camber from the rear (only toe is adjustable up front).
