Screw size for license plate?

Hey guys, stupid question but ive been searching for the correct screw size, just purchased the BMW M Carbon license plate and there wasn't any details on which type of screw to use and size. Thanks!

If the M2 is the same as the new X3 then it's an M5 bolt.

I had the same issue and just went by the BMW service department and asked for screws and they gave me a couple.

My dealer just put on my ///M license frames.
