Looks like a lot of one night stands, which doesn’t leave adequate time to smell the roses. Recommend utilizing a base camp strategy with 2-3 night stays at each base camp and do day trips from the base camp. Otherwise checking in and out of a hotel each day will be a burden on a two week trip.

It is mostly one night in each city. only 2 nighters are in Genoa and Nice.

I did that last summer touring around Spain and Portgual, but I wasn't driving

thanks for the recommendation though

I've been told by a couple ppl that Swarovski Crystal World is actually kinda lame (I skipped it). I ended up stopping in Konstanz for one night, simply cz it made sense based on my itinerary - it's ok but I've seen more interesting towns in Germany.

I did nothing but one-night stands on my ED trip last October - it's not for everyone but didn't bother me at all. Check out my ED trip post at the link in my signature - may be some ideas in there. I certainly wouldn't skip Hohenschwangau while you're in the Neuschwanstein neighborhood - make sure to get tickets in advance to avoid the lines.

PS - don't forget Rothenburg ob der Tauber

I've seen your post before. Great detail and amazing pics!

I'll try to do Hohenschwangau also, time permitting.

Not sure about Rothenburg, seems like its a bit north of Munich which puts it outside of my route

Thanks for the tip regarding swarovski also. I'll axe that
