I respect the effort, but the color doesn't look anything like Porsche's Gelbgrun. Just looks neon green to me. :

Looks great overall, but...the orange exhaust tips, not distracting. The wing I can barely stomach, but the fog lamps absolutely ruin the aggressive lines of the front bumper, not to mention they look like they were purchased at Circuit City and haphazardly thrown on the car, fitment not considered at all. Just bleh.

As the builder indicated.. the fog lights were apparently the focal point.. and they have been highlighted well... the result I think is a good looking car.. but yeah.. ditch the lights...

For sure not the color for everyone, but the car makes the statement that was intended to.
I will ditch however the fog lamps, the rear wing and the gold exhaust.
Without those, it will look better and fit nicely in the m&m cute exotic niche.

Not at all. Most speed bumps or inclines can be taken from an angle at low speed without issue. Driving around Los Angeles however.. I will admit that we had to purchase boards from Home Depot and kept them in the trunk for the duration of the trip.

Thank you! I think I speak for most of the staff here when I say that the foglights are my favorite part of the car. Maybe we can accredit that fuzzy feeling to the amount of effort that was put in and the satisfaction we felt the first time we switched them on.

Gelbgrun looks very different in different lighting. Factoring that with how everyone's perception of color varies and different post processing and it ends up looking different in every photo.

BMW OEM cores and paint factored in, we maybe make an average of $10-15 a set if sold at full retail. That's before factoring in any overhead or price fluctuations from BMW. I think that's more than reasonable.

The foglight kit is an OE BMW Motorsport part. Kit includes the Hella lights, carbon housings, brackets, and wiring. The price isn't set by us or for the regular retail market at all. BMW supplies these through their Motorsport division for motorsport use only and they seem to be doing fine at that price.

We thought it would be fun look, mimicing the old 2002 rally cars and gave it a shot. The only thing that we changed was to create a custom housing and wiring to relocate the lights into the lower opening of the bumper cover. We haven't set a retail price on that.

... this colour is fabulous. I cant get enough of the face of the 2. The space between the grill and the lights is so strong... designs connecting the grill and lights have nothing on this face... I'm going to miss this look ( as well as a defined space body colored between the kidneys ) in the new face of BMW connecting the kidneys as one piece....

i saw this car in person at bimmerfest (i was the m2 parked at the vendor entrance waiting for my pass to arrive). pictures don't do the colour any justice. it looks so good in person!
