2015 M235i : any issues?
I was a 3-series and M3 kinda guy and so I did not really pay attention to the 2-series until now. Saw a 2015 M235i and the specs are quite attractive as a daily commuter car. It sounds nimble, fast and small for a single driver.
Are there any troublesome parts that have sticker shocks to repair? I had a previous 2015 335i N55 engine and did not have any issues but I did not keep it long enough. Thoughts?

I had a 2015 M235i prior to getting my LCI M2. It's a great car and I really enjoyed it. Not a moments trouble.

and my dinan exhaust n55 sounds AMAZING lol-seeing that this is the most popular thread in either forum ;-) M2 comp or M3 is my next car. And Im keeping the 235i. I get so many compliments on the exhaust sound, I cant part with the car. |

You're on the M2 forum big guy. Might want to ask over on the 2 series section: http://www.2addicts.com/forums/index.php

It has 52,000 miles on it now and it's had an oil leak and the climate control fan motor fail. I can't speak to the price of these as they failed under warranty. |

I agree, you would have better luck getting answers on the 2 series forum but, as you as see; a lot of current M2 owners once had the M235i, including myself. IncredibleNewt's answer is very informing since he/she has a lot of miles on his/hers. I had my M235i about a year and a half, with close to 12,000 miles, loved it, and had no issues at all.
My only issue was still wanting an M2. |

I bought the M235xi.
Loved it. Small, nimble, fast, responsive and tight but balanced suspension. Feel economy is quite good compared to an M3. Perfect for commuting.
