Actually judging by the press release for the US and the webpage sport seats are standard in the US as well. This is good news.

I wonder if the standard sport seats are manual and, if so, if power seats are an option.

Probably in the UK, but as far as I know manual seats on the M2 never came across the pond to the US.

I think you should add a 55k to 65k option.

I know this question has been discussed ad nauseam and the official MSRP will be announced in May but did anyone got any closer to figuring out roughly what the US base price might possible be for M2C considering the information we are now privy to..

UK OTR pricing went up 5.5%, the UK version of M2C includes seats, perforated leather, wheels as standard. So you can use that info to get a rough idea of US msrp, depending on what is or isn’t standard.

Ok so $54,500 + 5.5 % ($3,000) = $57,500 for the manual, add $2,900 for DCT.

So 60K give or take. Sounds about right..

I have this information from a dealer, but here in Spain you have to add two taxes that add 35% to the price, 75,000€ minus 35%, add the taxes that apply to your country.
in Europe as standard comes with the following extras:
6AK, 4GC, 7M9, 508, 302, 430, 552, 6AP, 609 and 7ME.

Option of M seats and sport brakes not included. Radio (676) not included, new wheels not included.

That is actually a good thing that the M Seats are not standard in Spain. They look good but after driving the current M3 a few times,i find them very uncomfortable in the thigh area. The current M2 seats are much more conformtable and they have the thigh extenders, which i have always liked in M cars that i have owned.

I get what the OP was going for but the ranges are way too big. This doesn't really help.

No offense but the current seats look awful. Just look like some base BMW seats with blue lipstick.

M4 seats a must have option. I have done long roadtrips in M4, completely comfortable. Also great bolstering for the track.

I agree that the M Seats look better but they are not comfortable IMO.My E46 M3 seats were the best seats BMW has every done. They looked great, were very comfortable and had great support for any kind of driving.

Had an E46 as well. Comfortable, but not a huge fan of the tacked on headrest look. My favorite seats were E36 Vader seats. To me the M4 seats come closest to a modern day Vader.

One F80 side mirror housing is $880 plus $400 for the heated/dimming glass.. So roughly $2,500 for the pair..

How the M2C is only 5.5% above the current sticker price is beyond me..

All jokes aside, they build these in large numbers and it won't cost the company much more to put them on the car. I'm sure the standard non-M mirrors aren't much less than what your quoting.

I get what you are saying, it was kind of a rhetoric question but I am just surprised at what the same $55 - 60k can get you now in M2C, as oppose to a few years ago.

The regular non-M mirror unit/glasses are a little under $1,200 for the pair btw.

Well being that most M2 parts are hand-me-downs from the bigger brother and actual mfg part price differs from retail, they can get away with whatever they choose from the parts bin. I hope they continue doing this for the M2 as we’ll always get the best pieces.

Really means you shouldn’t build the M2 yourself with retail prices because that’s not sensibly logical

Actually reading what you said again, you gotta be really stupid to not understand that the mirrors between M2C and M2 are not much of a difference to produce. Not being able to understand scale of economics, demand pricing, end of life products and common sense is beyond me

I prefer not to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

I already mentioned that it was a rhetorical question, and you're obviously trolling at 5am..

I just got my invoice for next Monday pickup so I can say with authority, the vanilla list price is C$71,250 here in Ontario, Canada. On that, you have to add $895 for the paint, C$1,298 BMW production (told this is on all BMW cars these days), C$1,295 PDI, Freight C$1,135, air tax C$100 plus resultant HST (13%) C$9,876 thus totalling C$84,382, plus fuel and license fee of $122 so $84,500.
Any discount or options excluded.

Never heard of this BMW Production cost of $1,298, don't have this on any quote that I have on a M2C, and never had this on any previous BMW I've purchased either (the most recent being last year for a 2018 X3). I'm also in Ontario. What dealer is this with?
