Track days with the M2 (Videos and photos)
Weather’s getting better, tracks are reopening a little everywhere around me, decided to take the car out.
It's still on stock suspension, engine and brakes, fitted with Michelin pilot super sport factory dimensions. Yes as expected stock brakes do fade, and i will fit braided lines, SRF liquid and some pads. I honestly am so surprised with the car that i’m tempted to leave it stock appart for doing the brakes. Was running quicker times than comparable cars on semi slicks and coils... really the M2 is a proper car. EDIT : will use this thread to input and video's and photo's of trackdays i attend with the car together with evolution of parts and mods **Added : - pics of the M2 and a friends 135i - pics of tire change and rotor wear after 2 track days At the circuit du laquais : View from the car chasing me: Stage 2 Renault Megane RS : A few laps at the Dijon Prenois race track last week trying to follow a Zr1 : Last edited by Alessandr0; 04-09-2018 at 12:10 PM.. |

Camber plates, SRF, and PFC pads. They’ll all save you a lot more by not having to throw away tires and brake rotors away prematurely, like those in your pics.
Check the Track section of the forum, lots of good info there. |

This looks so fun. We have a road course out here in Oklahoma that I need to get mine out to!
