Put a thin layer of anti-seize paste between the hub and spacer. Just makes it easier when removing down the road. Otherwise, super straight forward.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll definitely pick some up before the install

Installed the TMS spacers tonight. They complement this APEX wheels nicely. I’m sure they’ll look even better with the 437’s. All I need now is lowering springs.

Got a package from Brian at Sun Motors today. M Performance Dry Carbon Steering Wheel Trim and Rear Lip Spoiler. Already got the steering wheel trim installed, but I’m going to tackle the rear spoiler tomorrow. The steering wheel trim piece is a nice touch and makes the interior design seem more cohesive. The steering wheel trim is super easy to install thanks to the DIY posted by akkando. Let me know if you guys have any tips for installing the spoiler.

M Performance Spoiler ready to get mounted tomorrow. Hopefully I’m able to get this thing aligned properly without the dreaded gap people have been seeing.

Nice on the spoiler. I'm also concerned about gap. Will be doing the same in a week or so

Unfortunately I now have a high frequency rattle/buzz coming from the downpipe area of my M2. Seems to be coming on at about 3k RPM and lasts till redline. Bringing the car in Monday to see what’s going on

The rattle was due to the clamp that connects the turbo to the downpipe loosening after install. They tightened it back and used some loctite. The problem seems to be resolved.

Also got a surprise package when I got home. It’s a JBSPEED carbon fiber key fob cover. Fits perfectly and looks great. Anyone have any suggestions for BMW keychains that won’t scratch this thing up?

So yesterday I had this pop and crackles sound come through all the speakers... and the audio totally stopped working afterwards. BMW has my car today, and diagnosed it with a failed amplifier... said the part has to be ordered from Germany. In the meantime I’ll be driving this 430Xi. After driving this 4 series I’m so glad I went with the M2 over the M4... this thing feels like a boat. The interior of this spec is not impressive at all.

Once you get all that installed, we will have to do some pulls.

Interesting, first picture of a M2 without spoiler... is it just design or helps air flow at high speed?

Apparently I received the incorrect ER chargepipe (one for 2012+ 335), and it doesn’t have a location for the M2’s EVAP sensor. So now the installer is having to remove the ER one, and reinstall the OEM chargepipe with the Wagner intercooler. Will have to pay out of pocket for reinstall once I get the correct part. Total headache!

Received my replacement ER chargepipe. The new one is the one with the extra port for the EVAP sensor. Does this look like the right one for the M2?
