Brake Pad Rattle
Does anyone have the BMW Performance / Track brake pads fitted?
The rear pads rattle inside the brake calipers and drive me nuts - the dealer does some kind of temporary fix (I suspect copper grease) but within a month the rattle is back. It's really bad when driving on poor roads which is everywhere in the U.K.! Does it happen with any other brands? The tech claims there is more clearance to allow for heat expansion but I am not so sure. S |

My Pagid RSL29 for the track rattle like crazy but they don't have an anti-rattle shim. I have to switch back to stock pads for the street right away because of the squeal, rattle and clunking when switching directions.

My shop put some copper grease on my RS29 fronts to try to combat the movement, but it's not a permanent fix. I switch mine out for street use as well. |
