A gentleman in Southern California just did. We spoke for a while over the phone, but I am not sure if he is on this forum.

My M2 was used as a testbed for Öhlins here in Sweden for them to put together a proper kit for the M2. The kits contents was finalized this week and I got my car back yesterday.

The kit is identical to the F80 M3/M4 kit apart from:

- front struts are swapped left/right to fit.
- rear spring is softer (I can't remember the spring rate but if anyone's interested I can ask)

So far I'm very happy, both on normal roads and on track.

Lucky you - you got to keep them by the sound of it.

That is good news.

We are fitting both softer front and rear springs on the M2.

Nothing on the horizon yet. Still in the R&D.

The rear spring is 190 N/mm.
It seems some minor change might be done to the rear strut.

Perhaps less aggressive damping and for sure lower spring rates.

That's the M3/M4 Kit? I doubt the same kit will work well on the M2 though, with different weight and such

When set to 10 clicks in the front and 15 at the rear the car is slightly more comfortable then stock IMHO. Still very capable on track, it felt more communicative in a way that I felt I could trust what the car was about to do more than on the stock suspension.

When set to fewer clicks (5 front 7 rear) the car is very direct, perfect for quick reactions in autoX (drove some autoX today ).
