As the BMW M2 Competition has been officially launched (see here), we can now focus in this thread on the possible hardcore M2 variant (2019/2020).

Now with the official release of M2 competition as only production model for 2019, I wouldn't be surprised towards the end of the f87 production , a very limited run of ultimate F87 is on drawingboard somewhere in Germany already.


Lets the fun begin. I'll start first

1. Significant use of carbon fiber material for weight reduction (CF roof,hood,bits....)
2. Track ready ( rear seat removed with roll cage, stereo and ac removal as an option)
3. S55 reworked, give it close to 450Hp and 440lb ft torque)
4. Massive cosmetic enhancement (CF spoiler, reworked grille....)
5. Improved handling thru suspension enhancement and more aerodynamics.


In conclusion, a true F87 weights somewhere close to 3200lbs with 450+Hp and track ready setups.

Please no convertible, but something more spicy and with a lower 'body mass index' than the M2 Competition.

The name here I think is not important. What is important is that the car (GTS/CSL) has not seen any progress or based on what I was told even moved in the last few months. This car is the reason why I do not want to post the M2 Competition video.

This is what I came for, the M2 CSL/GTS.

If this is true, I'll sell of my current M2 for this and I'll daily this to hell and back.

Dream garage will almost come to fruition.

BMW CSL model: Check
Porsche GTX model: Check

Just waiting on a Black Series/R Mercedes and the trifecta will be complete
