Picked mine up Friday night, and couldn't be more stoked. Unfortunately, it's been snowing on and off (mostly on) ever since. I did manage to take a few pics in the driveway on Sunday
Can't wait until the weather is warmer and drier, so I can properly break her in. |

Great shots bwhip, already saved them to my personal M2 images library. Congrats! Damn that is beautiful. As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, this car is going to become a classic.

It's beautiful bwhip. Look at the evenness and consistency of the panel gaps, the hood and fender alignments, the fit and finish. People take this for granted, but having just recently attended the Phoenix Auto Show and seeing how the Mustangs are put together, this is something I notice.

I traded in my 2015 M235ix for this bad boy. Every single option box checked and also the m peformance package (exhaust, cf tips, rocker panel decals, black grills, cf spoiler). Added the carbon fiber shifter kit and the m floormats. Black side "scoop" emblems on their way...

As far as a comparison in the M235 to the M2, I took a few pics at the dealership.
I drove the M235xi for 20k miles and I've only driven the M2 for 350 miles. The interior on the 2018 M2 is way nicer than the 2015 M235, especially with the carbon fiber goodies I installed. Brakes are way bigger on the M2. Wheels are staggered and fatter. Steering on the RWD car is way more fun and responsive. Speed is better, obviously, but not by a whole lot. Sounds way better while going fast though. Lighting is improved. In any case, I loved my M235xi and felt like it was the only car styling that looked good inside and out. RS3 and TTRS interiors felt like a teenage girls first car, and the exterior styling was boring. Cayman S with similar features was like $20k more than the M2. I felt like getting a new car at 38k miles, and the upgrade to the M2 seemed perfect. So far I love it. |

Factory M3/4 Competition Package Wheels F: 20x9 et29 R: 20x10 et40
1. Zero rub so far and I don't drive her gently, factory suspension/ride height 2. I don't notice any additional harshness with shorter 30 series sidewall 3. As far as turn in, I usually drive with DSC completely off, I'm an old dude that grew up without nannies, she is as quick or quicker, overall diameter of wheel/tire package only grows 0.5" and the rear tire to front tire overall diameter ratio is identical. |

As a long-time motorcycle nut who likes to ride cool bikes very fast on awesome, scenic roads, and take lots of photos of them, tonight I did a couple of things I'm not sure I've ever done before. Took a little sunset pleasure DRIVE instead of a ride, and took pictures of my CAR instead of my bike! Crazy - but pretty darn awesome. This car is ridiculously fun (and probably going to get me a ticket). I absolutely love it. So much fun to drive.
