Catless DP vs. Dinan or MPE Exhaust Only

I've owned M2's with both Dinan and MPE. I'm considering an M2 with DP + Bootmod. Power aside, I'm curious about sound of Catless DP with stock resonator and exhaust.

I didn't care for MPE.
I LOVED the Dinan w Resonator. So I planned to go with Dinan setup post purchase this go around.

I will have the stock DP to put back on the car with the Dinan. But sure would be nice if I loved the DP + stock exhaust so I didn't have to mess with buying and installing a Dinan!

Why would you want to put up with the gas smell from a catless downpipe? Besides it is illegal to install one.

I think that a 200-300 cell downpipe + stock exhaust sounds really good and good enough

My catless and stock non M perf exhaust sounds great. It’s pretty quiet too

I have Akro downpipes and I reckon the car is loud enough with stock exhaust

Catless tends to be rather raspy and paired with any aftermarket exhaust will be really loud. Catted DP with stock exhaust will probably surprise you to the point you don't feel any need for an aftermarket exhaust.
