Hi all, to save me experimenting any advice with tyre pressures.

I am running 34 all round when warm and wondered is there was a better choice for 1-2 people fast road. I ran my M5 1-2 PSI lower an run my GT3 slightly under the factory settings

In my experience, to keep things "even", you need to run 1-2 more psi in the heavy end. So on my car I run 33 front and 32 rear. My car is an in-town only, street car driven mildly aggressive. When going on an Interstate trip, like next weekend, I'll run 36 front and 35 rear.

Makes sense and might help to reduce understeer and improve turn in as well

I was told that the lighter the car, the more sensitive it is to tire pressure differences, and I believe it. On the Lotus (1,850 lbs), for example, I run 24 front, 26 rear (mid engine car) and can easily feel the difference in a few psi. I can change the entire nature of the way the car drives with nothing but tire pressure.

I haven't tested it on the M2, but have read that you want to be lower 30's for the best grip, and higher pressures for highway (obviously), but if you ran 32 front and 38 rear, the car should be much more playful. The opposite is also true, running 38 front and 32 rear would make it understeer more and grip more in the rear.

Car needs a decent front swaybar for sure.

Interesting I'm reading 32F/31R on the tps and measuring with a reasonable I believe guage 34/33 after a 10 mile run with temp at 18-23 degrees

Looks like my BMW tpms it 2 psi too high. My Porsche is 0.5 - 1.0 PSI too low and looking the quoted spec the gauge is reputedly within 1%

Im happy with 33F, 32R for the moment warm 32/31 at the start on a 15 degree (C) day

On stock MSS i found hot pressures ~37Psi to be pretty good on the track. For the street I just use whatever they recommend on the door jam as it feels just fine
