Nezil,

FYI, BMW sells two types, one is the ones I broke (with center stem), then there's the McGard type BMW added later. The one I broke was on my E86 & E65.

From BMW USA literature :

BMW Wheel Stud Locks $47.00
(PN: 36136786419) (Uninstalled)

BMW Wheel Stud Locks-Security version
w/ many key codes
$76.00
(PN: 36136792849) (Uninstalled)

I am actually now looking for longer ones for my E86 now that it has 15mm spacers, I will probably go with the ones from ECS (the ones look like Gorilla's). Just don;t like the original teeth type from BMW (one I broke) because the "key" is more or less universal, plus the fat that the material is rather soft.

I do have the McGard/BMW ones on the M2 though.

I see, I stand corrected... I wonder why BMS continues to sell a similar type if it's known to not be good.

Did you check out these from ECS?

I don't think you really want the BMW type after seeing the pix I posted above.
Thanks for the link. These meet the criteria I was looking for since they are black and extended for spacers.

This is a random question - sorry for the loss on the wheels (that sucks).

How do you tow the car?
I'm very curious how people put the car on a tow truck without the wheels.

Thanks.
