to wrap or not to wrap...

I'm thinking about putting on a wrap. I currently have a mineral gray OGM2. I'm a little tired of the color and thought about putting on a very dark blue wrap, carbon fiber wrap on the roof.

Does anybody have experience on how wraps stand up to track days?

I've been in camp "wanna do a wrap" since I bought my OG back in late 2021. Don't count out red wraps! There's an image of a satin red wrap on an M2 that looks badass. I have the black 437s and I think red on the black wheels + carbon fiber trimmings would look so clean.

If you Google search BMW M2 BLUE WRAP - IMAGES, you'll see that the best blues are fairly lighter.

Colored wrap is not very impact resistant so debris and whatnot is more likely to penetrate.

PPF is great, much thicker than vinyl, impact resistant, and self healing. Unfortunately it doesn't come in colors.

Maybe get a colored wrap and PPF on impact-prone areas.

Have you thought about a stealth ppf on mineral grey? I feel like that would look cool, like the M4 GTS frozen grey.
