Help - ‘17 M2 4G Update, CarPlay can’t connect
Since the 4G (hardware) update on my ‘17 M2 I have not been able to reconnect to CarPlay. Everytime I do I receive an error that says “unable to connect”
I’ve tried every combination I can think of - delete phone from iDrive, delete car from iPhone, Hard Reset Phone, Hard Reset iDrive. Nothing seems to work. Is it a hardware issue ? Where would I be looking ?Could something have not been installed properly ? I’m stumped and BMW hasn’t been very helpful. |

Try another phone to attempt to isolate the issue. If another iPhone connects you at least know the problem is unique to your device.
