Driver Restraint System

Hey,

I have just swapped out my steering wheel for a new alcantara BMW wheel.

After swapping out I am now getting a driver restraint system service request?

Its a BMW steering wheel, still has the original airbag etc.

Any ideas whats causing this? does it just need to be plugged in to a diagnostic tool and reset?

Any ideas welcome!

You need to read the faults code and see if clearing helps.
Have you checked everything is plugged well?
