New Car Prep/New member
Hi
Just joined the forum today, got my LBB LCI ordered for the second week of march! Can't wait and look forward to becoming a long term member of this forum. I've told the dealer to leave all the stickers on the panels as I wanted to get the car prepped by a professional outfit. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on who I can take the car to for a full detail and ceramic coating? I'm based in london so anything nearby that comes reccomended would be great. Offset detailing quoted me a whopping £2100 for front PPF cover and rest of the car done in ceramic coating. Which imo is way too expensive! All replies will be much appreciated! Regards Ali |

Not sure where you are in London but I got mine done (GTechniq) at Definitive Detail in Chelmsford. Paul who runs it is a top bloke (been detailing for years), he and his partner did a superb job, had my 03/17 LBB DCT for best part of a week and cost me less than half what you've been quoting. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul.

Hi,
Again depending on what side of london you are take a look here. www.divinedetail.co.uk Ed is a great guy and had 2 cars, mine & my dads, detailed by him, flawless both times. Thinking about getting my M2 done in the summer and he'll be first i call. |

Hi and welcome. I found huge variance in pricing of new car protection details with ceramic coatings. I ended up using a company called Optimum Detailing in Cambridgeshire using Gyeon products inside and out for £350.

Seems everyone is getting their Baby M's detailed. Crystal Serum Light here, easy to buff off if I ever wanted it re-detailed!

never been a fan of ceramic coatings... I'm an ex detailer of exotic cars so know how to do full correction etc and i always prefer wax. What joy is there in never waxing the car again? After all we all love polishing cars right and seeing the end results.
