Got my gift from BMW today

Received my USB key and a free 1-day driving school. Now to apply that toward the 2-day M school! Thanks BMW.

I read the back of the card and it appears that you had to have also previously owned a new or CPO car prior to buying a new one.

Hate you missed out. I've done the 2-day Car Control class twice and it's a blast.

I got the USB when I got my X1. Hoping i will get the M School certificate as I am seriously interested in going for the 2 day M school in Thermal..keeping fingers crossed

I only had my car for 2 weeks so I haven't received a USB stick in the mail yet, but today I received an email with a bunch of promotional material, including "One day on the track. On us." So check your email and junk mailbox.

True. It took about 5 weeks to get the package in the mail and today I got the email with the "One day on us" info. YMMV

It took 3 months to get the welcome letter. Never got any gift. Never got any invite to a gratis track day. Went thru BMWFS.

Me too. Got the email yesterday on the M School. But no USB stick. Kind of a lame gift IMO. I liked the pen they sent me when I bought my 135 better.

Even I got this email. the link points to a very generic page and have not figured out on how to redeem that offer. probably need to call the toll free number. anybody figured out that ? I am interested in upgrading to 2 day M school and hoping the BMW CCA special rate etc. can be availed. anybody gone through that route? I remember seeing a similar post somewhere before. Need to probably search the forums to locate this info.

Bmw driving school is NOT the same thing as M school guys. They're 2 different things.

We all got the free day of driving school. It's utterly useless unless you're a noob and you don't get to drive M cars.

The real M school is $1550 for one day and $4000 for two days.

According to the certificate (and others on the forums) you can apply the $849 value of the 1-day CC class to any class of your choice. You just pay the difference. I've already read that the BMWCCA discount applies as well. This is the route that I'm going for the 2-day M School. My brother and I are going to go together. On second thought, we're quite competitive so this may not be the best idea.
