Is it just me?

Stone dark finish on FF posted above looks darker and more powder-coat like than it looks on forge wheels. It's supposed to be more 'clear'.

I'm sure lighting plays a part, but it's not an isolated case. Someone else here posted a FF04 on stone dark clear that feels a bit powder coated too.

Below are some pictures from HRE gallery showing how 'clear' dark stone should look.

Could bee the camera, settings, lighting or all three. I want saspirilla or IPA since I have a drinking habit

I think it may have something to do with casting surface.

Yea I have seen pice many time that show dramatic differences in color hue based on a lot of things. I just try to always be ready for slight variances

I care to comment because I already ordered something from HRE forged monoblok series in stone dark clear

Now finger crossed, it comes as beautiful as a clear coat should be

Just like everyone else said. Different Camera settings.

You wouldn't be saying this if you saw the wheels in person. With that said, feel free to come visit our Vista, CA location anytime if you wanted to see them up close
