My thoughts are generally that you should've taken a bit more time to clean it up, prior to posting for sale.

Either way, GLWS!

Fair! I was thinking about putting tires on it, but I'd probably put all seasons to drive it in the winter instead of the OEM Summer tires, and then something may not want them and put the OEMs back on them.

Bumping this. I don't mean to sound harsh but the car isn't going to sell with these pics. If you don't want to clean it up and take better photos, just sell it off to Carmax or Carvana.

I mean just because in the pics I took the car hadn't been meticulously detailed and there's some curb rash means I should just sell it to Carvana for $30k just so they can go around and sell it for $37-38k? You think if I got it detailed and fixed the rash it would have sold?

I agree with previous input. The buyers that you are trying to get the attention of will pass on your car for a cleaner "detailed" example. A clean car is perceived as a well maintained car. A dirty car is perceived as a neglected car. I would either pass or give you a significantly low ball offer if I were in the market. If I got it for a below market price I would track the sh!t out of it.

No guarantee that a cleaning will make it sell for what you want, but you will have a much better shot.

Edit- didn't catch this was an older initial post. Hope you sold it for what you wanted.

Some people just don't understand the rules of sales, or are rich enough that they just don't care.

If this car was local to me I'd buy it, clean it, take proper pix of it, and flip it for a $5-$10K profit.

Free bump for a dirty car.
