I've been rocking my 19" Apex EC-7 for about a year at this point, but I've always been a big fan of Rays wheels (i.e. TE37).
A couple of days ago, I finally came across a set of used ZE40! Obviously, the fitment isn't as good as 19's, but the 18's look very "track" if that makes sense. I want to lower it a bit more, but it’s already rubbing a bit, and I currently am not able to enter 20-30% of underground parking garages thanks to extremely steep ramps here I'm running 265 35 19 Nexan SUR4G's, which came with the wheels. Going to semi-slicks with lightweight forged 18's is a HUGE difference. There is so much mechanical grip chucking my car into corners that it feels unreal. Although the way these Nexans lose grip isn't as progressive as Michelin PS4S's I had on my Apex. Overall, I’m so happy with this purchase. I spent a solid 30 minutes staring at my car at a highway rest stop lol. F: 9.5J 20 R: 10.5J 30

looks soooo good. Once i sort out the front brake situation on my M2C (i have the 2nh big brakes), i will be going on 18s too. They just suit the car so well

I’m exploring a couple of options right now that will allow me to run 18s.
1). AP racing brakes (front only) 2) custom 2nh bracket to run 380mm rotors 3) Zl1 bbk retrofit 4) blue brakes A couple options i’ve seen thus far in my research on the forums. They are all feasible though. |
