Battery drain issue

So, I have a JB4; DP’s; FI exhaust – been installed by a local shop – I did notice after the exhaust install, I would get a battery drain warning on some mornings, but it started ok – then, I was out of town for a week and got back – the battery was completely dead – it started fine on a boost and has been ok since then but I’ve starting it on a daily basis, with the daily battery drain message.
I also have an Escort Maxx360 hard wired.
So, what could be the culprit? Could it be something connected to the OBD? I know the exhaust is valve activated so it should need juice and as I mentioned, I noticed the warning after the exhaust install.
Any ideas?

Well, I have battery drain, but this is due to a dash cam that has parking mode enabled, which is wired to a live fuse that doesn't require the vehicle to be in accessory mode for here to be power.

However the dash cam is set to shut off if the battery voltage drops below 12.3V

And there are constant error codes saying that I have battery discharge while stationary.

But still hasn't been an issue. Left the vehicle for like 1 month, and still started fine

I also have the FI exhaust, and i have made a switch to turn off the module that is Connected to the OBD. Othervise the modoule always stays on. You can also remove the fuse every time you know your car Will stay parked for a longer time.

Thanks - will disabling this module prohibit the valve actuation from the remote?

Two thoughts on this...

The shop that did the installation may have left your your door ajar and drained your battery. If you do lots of short drives it never had a chance to fully recharged the battery. Try charging it for at least 24hrs.

OR

You have a parasitic draw somewhere which is draining your battery overnight.

Yes, you will not be able to control the valves, but as soon as you start the module again, it's normal.

The problem for me was when I turned off the car, the module never turned off so it charged out the battery. is that the same for you? can you see if it's on even a while after you turn off your car. If so, it's the module that is the thief of the battery.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I too have the FI exhaust, and it’s draining my battery as well. Were any of you able to figure out a way to resolve this?
