Unexpected gift from BMWNA after responding to feedback survey
Robert, a BMWNA representative called about 6 weeks ago for consumer insights on my 2018 M3 I purchased back in December. We had a great conversation ranging from how M has changed over the years to my personal review of the vehicle to how BMW could be more effective marketing and reaching their consumer base. In total we spent about 20 minutes on the phone. Robert was genuinely interested in what I thought and how I felt about BMW and the M3. Fast forward a couple of weeks later and I received a package at my doorstep from BMWNA. Inside was a nice note from Robert and a set of Bowers & Wilkins headphones. Anyhow, just wanted to share with the community.
On a side note, I mentioned the enthusiast community and Bimmerpost and he made a general comment that they monitor the forums in some capacity. Not that I was surprised but it was interesting to hear this spoken. View post on imgur.com |

All I ever got was a crummy model i8 and a thumb drive. Both sent in elaborate packaging that looked like a Faberge Egg was going to be found inside.

Thats great
I did received a call from BMWNA about my purchase of M4. Its good to hear that BMW is getting involved with their high end vehicles and calling customers about it. Keep it it, BMW and M

You'll find pretty much all large companies have dedicated social media staff which monitor various outlets on the Internet on their brand and some are allowed to participate as an official company representative. The company I used to work for has such a department and the one I work for now does too.
But it is nice BMW NA sent out such a nice gift. |

I got one too about 6 weeks ago. I have no use for it sadly but I very much appreciate the gesture all the same.

my CCA Local includes BMWNA geographically (Woodcliff Lakes, not the call center) so we have a meeting there every year. I have to say, the Company puts on a fine effort for that meeting. Free food, and so forth. Last year they had a special show that included about 70 E30 M3s. One year, a member won a rear wheel from Scott Pruitt's DP car (imagine the coffee table you could make with that) and there's always some sort of swag for everyone. Over the years, like everyone else I've carped about the run-flats and the dipsticks, but I wouldn't buy anything else unless I needed a pick up truck.

I got the same gift. I thought it was a nice touch. BUT...they fit terribly and sound pretty bad. Took them to Goodwill
