pure says no.
Shop is handling it though as i have a spec clutch coming too. Going in to handle those two and any service it needs as it crested 50k miles(rear diff). Swapping out worm gear clamps for tbolts too on the boost pipe and any others. also have a rtd shifter coming but doubt it will be here in time. My lil boy was born monday so im enjoying him, trying to sleep and will let the shop take care of things while im on fam leave |

posted in other threads, but keeping this updated too. Got larger compressor cover & inlet installed. Went with 1200ftlb spec f8x clutch and rtd short shifter. sticky tires next week & finish breaking in the clutch…then tuning revisions will come..Already feeling good at mid & 3/4 throttle. Whether thats the clutch/flywheel or enlarged cover idk…
Kids now a month old. Finally getting what could be described as sleep… |

Also, studies show that infants/ toddlers LOVE the acoustics of the N55 and it’s forced induction noises. |

Did cvd delete too, so not sure if its impact as well…Driveability is fine, just takes a little time getting used to starting off 1st/reverse as the catch point is a little narrower..Once rolling above 5mph its fine/perfect. Its nosier too, but not annoying. My center console is still open cause of the shifter so there’s no dampening…The chatter and nvh can be overshadowed by radio, a/c, exhaust easily…I actually like the sound. It plus the shifter has made it feel more “racecar like”…

Just crested 400miles on clutch so i snuck in a few pulls…I need a revision bad, sending a few logs to wedge today.…Not sure if this is the result from the cover/ inlet, but i have never seen this high of boost til now with a short pull in 4th..We did the cover/inlet and replaced all pressure side orings, etc… Its definitely higher and when getting on it at/above 3K+ rpm, she stays really close to target consistently. Virtually no lag when hitting it above 3k..
Throttle is closing to regulate psi/afr I assume…27/29psi is a 4th gear full throttle pull to 5.5k…Pedal says 99% but actual is 50% at peak psi.. Second pic shows how close boost stays on target down low/response..This is a 2nd and 3rd gear 60% throttle pull. lazy shifting Last edited by VGSON; 04-11-2024 at 10:19 AM.. |

Remind me again, is this E30 or E50 or some other blend? 6s for 60-130 is ridiculously quick! I can't wait to see it all buttoned up!
