Long Beach Blue looks way better than the X4 concept pictures, I think

Nope, doesn't do it for me. As I said earlier too much a Jekyll and Hyde colour like Valencia Orange.

Nice here in the first side shot where its a darker blue and terrible here in the 2nd and 3rd pics where it looks aquamarine. You can see the nice blue brake calliper in the background as a comparison.

Telling you guys right now, as someone that has seen the color in person.... LBB is darker than that and has more turquoise in most situations.

Either way, I think it's going to look so amazing on an M2

I think it would be really cool if BMW came out with a new gray. Mineral gray is starting to look a little too dark to me. LBB looks pretty freakin' awesome here.

It's not going to happen, but I wish BMW would release a "liquid metal" gray, something that's not as dark but looks very silky. Kind of like the gray color of the gray M2 render.

Well they did come out with Donnington Grey with the X5/6M. Maybe that'll be offered on the M2.

I'm all about LBB at this point though.

Torquoise doesn't seem like a very modern color to me. Also too much metallic.

I'll take some more pics at the LA Auto Show in a few weeks.

This is much closer to LBB than those sets of pics IMHO. With a bit more blue than that. Maybe in insanely bright sunlight, the car will look like that light blue on the X6M. I think it's fantastic and will suit the M2 insanely well.

That is true. However that gray is very light in those pictures, more like a silver. But if you're saying LBB is darker in person than in the photos, perhaps the same is true for DG.

I've also seen DG around here. It's light, kinda of like a Space Grey. So yea, those pics are kind of all over the place haha

I really like Long Beach Blue but I will definitely have to look at the color in person before ordering the color for the M2.It seems to look different in almost all of these videos and pics.

Does anyone know when dealers are getting the X5M?I would like to go to a dealer to see Long Beach Blue on the X5M when it is released.

DG looked perfect when I saw it on the new X5 pics the other day. LBB was iffy until I saw the X6M video a few minutes ago. Love both colours now but like most have said, I'll have to see them in person. But hey...if you can't have Individual, these two colours add a nice couple of extra choices for the M2. Just my opinion but I'm thinking that BMW might spice up the M2 launch with a couple of Frozen colours (no lectures about what Leipzig can and cannot do, the plant has painted a few "one offs" so it can do a whole run of an intro car if it wants) so here's to hoping!

I'm hoping LBB is a dark Estoril! This would be my first color choice.

To me, it more or less is. With a strong hint of Atlantis. If you mixed both colors, that's more or less what you get. Really metallic with lots of flakes too.

Should just allow one to spec EBII anyway.

Think they did that with the E9x M3, after facelift (LCI) they introduced more standard series colours such as Le Mans Blue.

If Long Beach Blue looks anything like this, this is my choice.

That is encouraging if you have seen the color in person and you feel it is similar to Atlantis Blue.

So are your saying if you mixed Estoril with Atlantis you would get a darker version of Estoril?I would have assumed it to look the opposite of that and the mixture of the two colors would be a color that is a lighter version of Estoril Blue, because Atlantis Blue is lighter than Estoril Blue.

The car changes color like crazy, so it's hard to describe what color it really is. This is pretty accurate from what I've seen IRL:

In lower light situation, it's more like Atlantis. That's literally the first color I thought of when I saw it for the first time.

Does this mean the M2 will also get Donnington Grey as the grey?

I'd be shattered if it was. Surely between the grey and blue there is a 'dark' shade??

Donington grey looks great in the pics IMO, compared to Mineral Grey which is far too dark. Donnington is more of a dark silver and will look very cool.

Big fan of Donington grey. Would really like to see it on the F8x chassis.

LBB looks great, too, but I've never been a huge fan of blue.
