Trailer for OVERDRIVE film featuring F80 M3

Seems like BMW is branching out from The Hire short films. The description doesn't say anything about the movie length but features a range of models instead of just one.

Quote:
Trying not to get caught was the easy part.
Overdrive: An action-packed, high-octane adventure film. Featuring Scott Eastwood, Freddie Thorp and many BMW's as their companions.

The recent Mission Impossible movies offer the same variety of BMWs as well... Including the motorcycles.

If I remember correctly, it all started with the James Bond franchise. Both motorcycles (BMW 1200C cruiser) and several cars Z3, Z8, 7 series, over the years.

True, although those films were more of a automobile gadget-fest than about the driving/riding... The M:I movies were all about the driving/riding.

Amazing how much Scott looks like his father. Hopefully this will propel his career and allow him to get better roles. This doesn't look like a star making turn, however. Everything about it is pretty cliche. If it weren't for the F80 at the top of movie, I would have no interest in this . Even the title is cliche. Baby Driver looks way more interesting and way more unique in this genre.

Over-the-top product plug.

They should have included some individual colors in the mix.

I'd probably watch it, when it comes out to DVD. Only because the trailer has the Silverstone M3 with Xenons lol...

I guess bmw wanted to up the ante ever since the Audi took over the Transporter series.

Yeah Baby Driver looks like something that's worth going to the cinema to watch. It's got a better cast

They probably had leftovers and had to do something with the extra "beat" cars

I wonder if they'll dub the noises with S65 engine/exhaust sounds like they did with Rogue Nation

No Z4M.

I need a movie to do for that car what TFATF did for my Supra back in the day.
