During Bimmerfest, we talked to some oc area shops and they seem down to host an intermediate gathering after cars and coffee. If this gets confirmed, we'll make this a longer tour to give some of the LA folks time to catch up

Depending where everyone is coming from I could probably get HRE to host us and do some kind of tour. I'd have to talk to them now but I'd imagine I could swing it.

went to EAS today and they are offering to do coding and/or dyno sessions for a discounted rate if enough people sign up. who might be interested in that? we could add them as a stop mid morning

I'd probably hit a dyno session just for the heck of it.

Who needs to pay a shop for coding when you can do it yourself

I'll happily bring my coding setup to the meet if people want some coding done.

However I might be down to get a baseline dyno done

hey, that's a great idea hopefully it's not a big setup and not too much trouble! (I actually want to preemptively take out the seat errors for when i change out my interior)

I'm more than willing to bring my VGate and iPad to the meet. Code away.

whoever has coding equipment, please feel free to bring it we can do it in the parking lot at Dana Point, and not at the car shop, out of respect for the shop. I'll request dyno's if we can have at least 5 committed.

I think by adding EAS as an intermediate stop, it will help gather some of the people from LA/OC area that don't want to go all the way to Corona for the first early stop. I'll look at travel times later tonight and adjust the itinerary.

I will be taking some video, and will probably bring a passenger to help shoot photos. I'll open up a google drive repository for anyone else who's shooting and wants to add footage. If anyone wants to volunteer to cut the video together, it'd be helpful too - otherwise i can do it when i have some free time.

Also, please repost this flyer to your social media to help promote the meet: https://www.instagram.com/p/BU-AW79jdl-/

use #SoCalM2Cruise for pictures you guys take for this event as well!

Sure. If someone has a 12V AC inverter that would be great.. My mac setup is a bit clunky, and I only have the latest ESYS, and ISTA on my work laptop that's a little bit beefy but reliable, just has like 40 minutes of battery life lol.

I also have VGATE 2 + Carista, so I can code via the iOS app as well.

Sure. I may have some free time doing some video editing. I'll bring my DSLR around and try to capture some footage. I'll see if my buddy with his drone will tag along also!

You can do it yourself. It does not do everything but it's a great and cost effective alternative to coding.

I'm still not sure of my schedule. If I can make it, Starting from lunch on, I have an old clunky PC that has EVERYTHING loaded. I used a remote coder from NY and that stuff is what he needed to re-code all of my seat mats and sensors.

If I can join the group, I will bring it with me. FYI, the PC gets hot REAL FAST but it's good for at least an hour or so.
