Different Strokes for Different Folks. We have a 530d GT and my wife loves it. But with features reduced as let's face it the twin boot is virtually redundant as the tailgate is the preferred option. Have sampled a prototype of the G32 and about to trial the G31 which shows how dated the 5er GT has become. But those that love the 530d GT will love the 6er GT perhaps more? Especially when its previous complexities have been removed. That upper segment refinement is retained and emphatically enhanced.

I find the 2 mode trunk extremely useful for those who live in cold climate. Opening the small trunk prevents large volume of cold air rushing into the cabin.

I don't mind it. It's miles better than the 5 GT. So is there no more GC? We have a 328i GT and it's a fantastic little car. Tons of room in the rear, and perfect for around town.
