It may look better with full exterior carbon add ons and a CF roof wrap and CURRENT M2 wheels.

Best thing about HS is that it doesn't look silver! Almost looks pastel in this lighting. With some CF bits and and the right wheels I think it'll look great. Still would have loved SMB... guess that's where the great wrap base comes in

Those wheels make it look less aggressive than the current M2. Considerably so.

Kinda like it. Seems closer to Suzuka Grey vs Nardo in the Audi camp.

Those wheels make the car lose its aggressive presence. Looks very boring from the side angle.

Wouldn't the M2C look stunning with that color on the M5... Wrap it is immediately after delivery.

You can clearly see that the new color has a tendency of becoming a color like an undercoat which you put on anything before applying your final paint color.

It is so annoying that HS is so freaking boring sometimes. I am really only taking it as a great undercoat for a future wrap, because it is plain boring under normal sunlight.

MR
Nice find.

Agreed HS (from photos at least) feels like a bit of a lost opportunity. I've yet to see it and think WOW like I would with a Fire Orange or basically any Red.

It's so hard to get any BMW now in anything other than Black, White, Grey and Blue. Some base £65k cars in the UK cant be had at all except in these colours X5, X6 etc

Life needs a bit of colour! Especially an M.

Hopefully I've got it wrong and it's a real 'popper' in the sun.

If I was to wrap it, I’d get black. Light color cars are pain to wrap. Plus when you pop the hood, the engine bay looks better in black.

I love the wheels... They are stunning, but not with this color like this. I really liked the package when I saw it live in the studio.

In the end, for me the car gets a wrap, new suspension set up and a set of HRE's. Just making the stance better and looks better.

Last time I tried to reply to this thread my browser crashed...I saw one of the words i used in subsequent posts, opportunity.

This color is bland, more so under the sun. It hides the curves and the rims have no concavity. It looks like a standard 2 series which is too tall for its width.

The car is offered in another 5 colors and there is a white too? What sort of planning is that?

They could have used lime rock grey, much nicer color, to cover the grey/silver spectrum. Or better yet, offer a champagne quartz this car would look uber cool.

Only one great color LBB but since the car has had so much coverage in that color its novelty has worn off.

Never had a black car, gradually warming up to it.

I'm glad I don't have to choose one of the available colours for M2C. I'll be keeping my MGM LCI. I was excited to see HS but it's too light and hides the curves just like White does. If only they went with Lime Rock Grey. I guess they were trying to put a fresh spin on that sort of colour.

Looks more grey than silver. Wish they came out with a true silver.

Because they know you ( and I... and others ) would want it .. so instead it's on the M4 CS... I think the other car it came on was the M6 so.... gotta spend 6 figures to get it.

This car in HS needs CF bits and 763M wheels to look the part.
It really looks very GTish wonder how LBB is going to look like.

The unibrow grill is such a disappointment

Of all the colors the M2 came with or will come with... LBB is still my favorite. The only crazy, sports car color..

My car is for me, and I'm not one for calling attention to myself, but the road needs less of the blacks, whites, and silvers.

My Sapphire Blue Cayman got so many positive comments due to its color alone. Part of owning a high performance car is the comradery between enthusiasts and the discussions we have. Many times, the color of the car is the ice breaker for these conversations. I understand the stealth appeal, but wouldn't have minded some more new, brighter choices, not shared with the X models. I do understand that the assembly process for the M2 in general is part of the problem from what I've read.

I'm with you. Audi Nardo Grey fans will love it. Hardly see the metallic in the pics. Not even sure it will look good with a stealth wrap. Hmm, will be waiting for the orange. And those basket weave wheels are so dead. I'd be doing the M wheels in black or the 5 spokers.

Moonstone silver is actually the best silver available in any BMW IMHO
