Sigh.. I was dead set on this color, but not so sure anymore. Yes, best to see in person under sunlight, etc, etc. But.... I just.... BMW, why not San Marino Blue?

Yep. North American tastes. Black, Silver, Grey or White..... just go for a walk and look.

Yeah, I'm not as much of a fan of the color as I initially was, seeing it like this. I still like it, but not sure I'd get it now. It may be just the color and wheels making it look this way, but the M2C looks less aggressive than the current M2 IMO. The color seems to subdue the look and curbs, and I like the look of the current car better. Would be nice to see those mirrors on the current M2. I'd also really like to see the M2C with the 437M wheels and a different color.

Look at the background of comments in this Bimmerpost forum: it's also light grey, but also looks as if it got a touch of blue in it.

I actually like these pictures of the car out in the sunlight, but to be fair I like these "boring" colors like Nardo Grey and Porsche's Chalk color. I also hate traditional silver colors on cars.

The main issue is that since this colo(u)r is exclusive to the M2, there's almost no way to see it in person before you order it. You can at least go to a dealer and check out SO on a 240. I guess I'll need to take a trip to one of the big auto shows where it will be.

Like many in this post i am a bit disappointed after seeing these pics of the car, to me it somehow doesn't look quite as aggressive, not sure if it's because of the color or those wheels but looking forward to seeing Sunset Orange with 437M's.

Thats exactly why I like it, I am not really a fan of silver cars. But very much a fan of colors like Lime Rock Grey, Nardo Grey, etc. So I am very much liking Hockenheim silver.

Colour looks good here! But man did they miss the mark on those wheels. This is the same company that brought us the iconic CSL wheel style. What's going on over there? These look like cheapo brand knockoffs you buy for winter wheels on your beater. In these photos they look brutal.
I wonder what happened to those 2002 homage wheels?

We need to wait. Pictures are taken in Beijing where you can hardly see the sun. Yes the car is outside but you don’t get a accurate representation of the car in natural sunlight in Beijing.

I realize I'm probably in the minority, but those side mirrors look tacky as hell. Why are they supposed to have that awkward extra bit of plastic again?
"Oh, but that makes them REAL M mirrors!" Neither my '17 M2 or my '07 M Coupe have that goofy shit and I'm glad. |
