So if I am getting MSRP buying it here, I should in theory get 5% off doing Euro Delivery? Not that I would do it for the savings, but it's one of those bucket list things and I'm due for a visit to the old home country (Switzerland)
It's BMWs best kept secret. Euro Delivery.

You get your car for 5 percent less and it's available for you while you vacation in Europe for two weeks to a month.

You may have to search for a dealer and sales personnel that will allow you to do this but it's hella worth it.

Wha?

BMW already threw you a bone with LBB. They even made it the launch color.

The M2 Comp one hangs much lower and is significantly visible from the sides of the car. I wonder how much that thing weighs.

It looks like silver mixed with milk.

Would people be up in arms if it was offered in the following?

Imola Red

LeMans Blue

Jerez Black

Alpine White

Silverstone II

I believe you now can. There's a video on BMW M's FB page in which Frank van Meel mentioned it.

Could be just the angle, or not. My e92 M3 can was visible from the side as well. I was going to have it painted black at one point.

I miss the sound of that car!

Not enough of a pain point for me to want to replace my M2 with a M2C. I wonder if this capability can be coded? Sport does allow a choice on the screen for throttle, chassis or both.

Could be, but the hanging blobs on the M2 Comp look like they protrude much lower in side view. I'd go look at my E90 M3 in the garage, but it has a Dinan exhaust on it now.

Here’s a screen shot of the rear muffler (attached).

It appears to be visible on the M4 as well, though not as much. Nothing an aftermarket muffler cannot solve. Or some high temp black paint.

I just looked at it again, and you are right. Looks strange. I wonder if this is a full production model.

They should have changed the design of the rear bumper to hide it.They changed the front bumper design,so why not also change the design of the rear bumper.

They did. They put that little gray diffuser above it to try and distract your eyes. Which it doesn't.

The piece has been visible in spy photos for a half a year with the swirls on it.

That's what it will look like. They could have at least painted it flat black.

That's not the same can as we have seen on the test mules. The test mules have the same can we saw on the G8x. At least on the images I have seen.

At this point it doesn't matter. I'm sold on the M2C anyways. Lmao

Yeah, doesn't matter here either as we're #3 on list for the M2C (wife's car). We're mildly interested in it and hope it's a fun car, but if not, the demand seems high enough that getting out of it won't be a big deal.

It’s a minor quibble. What’s awesome is that BMW stuffed the S55 in there. Offer a 6MT. And have not jacked up the base price. Win, win, win.

Does anyone have a video of the BMW Beijing Autoshow M2 Press event?

I tuned in last night but it was at the very ending.

Do it for the experience which is well worth it but not for the savings. ED automatically disqualifies you from any BMW NA rebates and special sales programs so in the end you pay the same or a bit more.

You know, I was behind an E92 on the way to the airport the other day, and it was a stock car, but I was shocked at how noticeable the exhaust can was. I had never really noticed it before, and have always liked the E92.

I think all the discussion about it on the F80/82 and now the M2C has made me almost more focused on it, generally speaking, if that makes sense.

That's true, unless it is a car like the M2C. It won't likely have many incentives so $3k off of sticker is about the best you could do in the beginning of production.

I like the car ... but geeeeez......that was a T E R R I B L E, WORTHLESS introduction for the car. Zero new information, only one color, and more emphasis on electric cars than performance cars. I guess that's what we have in our future.
