Fitted my gold calipers and invented two new colours I think BMW should use. A Liquid Grey/blue and an homage to San Marino, both courtesy of iPhone X filters.

Not today, but yesterday took a nice 1.5hr ride up to Lehigh Valley C&C. On the way I home I took the backroads. What a fun ride home!

Bought black chrome comp pack exhaust tips. Got a good deal on them. Tried to buy a strap wrench to help with install but Home Depot was out!

Small block of wood and a hammer is all that is needed to remove the old tips. Actually pretty easy to take off.

Also, be aware that they will discolor with use. At least mine have. I do track the car so am not sure if the extra heat from tracking it makes a difference.

Thanks for info. The rears look flush - no spacers? Seems like the rear would need them more than the front.

Not running any spacers in the rear. They are pretty flush in the rear considering it's a 10" wheel at ET33. 12 mm spacers in the front, which was needed to clear the suspension and make the top of the tire flush considering all of the camber.

Yesterday I had my camber plates installed and alignment set up (-2.5/-2.0) so now I should be ready for my first track days of the season this weekend.

And on Saturday I also did an oil change & brake fluid flush in prep before putting on my new Apex FL-05 18x9.5 with RE71s.

Had a small, but deep dent that I got on the passenger rear wheel arch, right on the body line, removed by a paintless dent removal guy. I have no idea when or how I got this, but it was obviously caused by another door opening into it, really hard.

The guy I used makes his own tools and only pushes leather to metal on the inside of the dent. The result after he'd left was that the metal was perfect, but there was a slight scratch in the paint from the impact.

I did literally 2 passes with M205 on a microfibre pad, and it's now impossible to find where the dent ever was.

I'm so impressed with what's possible with Paintless Dent Removal (and polishing). It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it, and great fun to watch the process!

PDR has been a godsend IMO. In the old days you either lived with door dings or paid $$$ to get your car repaired and re-painted. Now as long as the paint isn't overly damaged these guys can make the dents disappear.

Did black chrome comp pack exhaust tips while I was on my lunch break at work today in the parking lot lol. I got a good deal from a dealership selling them on ebay. They seem to stick out A LOT farther than I thought they would. I think maybe I need to push them in farther? Seems the little prong on the top isn't flush with the inside exhaust but the bottom prongs are. Hmmm. Anyway pictures.

Half on half off.

Sticking out quite far here...
