They was some discussion about the suspension, I heard both: unchange or replace by better ones.. BMW had also different version (cf: interview), could you confirm ?

I think the car looks weird. Like it had the front smashed in. It looks chubby. Maybe it's the pictures but so far I'm not happy with the new look.

I think I will go for black. The hockenheim silver looks awful with the black grill. And even worse with the bootlid badge in black on the silver. Just worried what the bootlid badge will look like on the black boot if it is chrome/silver. May go for delete....

Does BMW do this on purpose?

Battleship color for a car with those hideous wheels.

I don't think the overall body lines have changed... just the front end (and of course that unfortunate muffler/hernia hanging down in the rear).

I have figured out why I like the old (M2) front end better. The M2C front is more aggressive and angular. But I think the angularity is not aligned with the graceful curves of the rest of the car. Sure the M mirrors echo it; but to me the design of the "old" M2 is more consistent all around.

Taken in isolation, I like the front end view of the M2C. Taken from a more comprehensive view, it looks OK, but not as blended as the M2. They needed to do more bodywork changes to make it all fit together... Like the rear spoiler and hood Paul Bracq rendered in. It looks unfinished.

Yeah, I agree with you. I just doesn't flow right. The front end on the Paul Bracq render with the even smaller fangs looks a lot better imo. Gives it a more complete look and the gts hood also does its part as you mentioned.

I'm pretty pissed I canceled my order for the regular LCI now because they can't take any more orders of the current model. :/

Its hard to see the true shape of M2 on pictures, I really see a different car looking at my BSM LCI in real, the M2 car shape is really top and well balanced ... looks to me the M2C takes all from it except few chamged details ... so I do not expect a different overall aspect between the two models

That's what the text says: new "Competition" stickers (M Performance Parts accessories).

I figured that was what it said.Looks like they are going with a black theme for the stickers this time.

Why bad news? Look at the new standard options (highlighted in blue) and add them to the current M2 in Spain. You get almost the same price. The only thing I think is weird is that the M Drivers Package is standard for the new M2C.

Base price will be 74.700€ with following options standard compared to the M2:

- Servicios ConnectedDrive (6AK)
- Cinturones M (4GQ)
- Shadow Line de brillo intenso de contenido ampliado (7M9)
- PDC delantero y trasero (508)
- Alarma (302)
- Paquete de retrovisores int y ext (430)
- Faros delanteros de LED adaptativos (552)
- Servicios Remotos (6AP)
- Sistema de Navegación Professional (609)
- M Driver’s Pack (7ME)

Adding those extras to the standard m2 on bmw.es brings the price very close to the 74.700.

Optional are the new 19”, the sport seats, sport brakes, and the carbon fiber interior (high gloss black interior seems to be the new standard)

All the other countries seem to getting pricing first, when is the USA getting pricing info on the M2c?

Shouldn't the U.S. be the first to get pricing announced since the first batch of production M2c's will be U.S. spec vehicles?

bad news because I do not need Bmw to tell me the extras that I have to mount as standard, I want M sport brakes , M seats, but nothing that I am forced to buy I want, I want that money for performance parts, I do not want any of those obligatory extras, just let me choose

I understand the visuals are very subjective and I certainly hope the new M2C will sell well because M2 is great little car, so go and get it... you will love it.

To me, the new M2C looks like woman with way too much makeup. The grill is so large that it kills some smoothness of the front lines. It reminds me the latest iteration of Skoda Octavia and I just can't unsee Josef Kaban in it. But hey, I'm still rocking my old E39 because I consider it the best looking 5 series BMW has ever done, so what do I know
the E39 IS the best looking 5 series ever made!!!!
while in high school, I used to drive to the dealership after hours and sit and stare thru the window at a blue E39...wow!

The 666Ms are like that - they take more time for sure...but I got some nice wheel brushes, and that helps. But it's a commitment, no doubt about it.

I think I will order a M2c with the standard wheels and purchase 763M wheels.

Are 763M wheels same offset with the standard M2 wheel?
