Should I get Wagner IC or Dinan IC

I can't decide between getting a Wagner IC, or a Dinan IC. I plan on getting the Dinan P2 package later on, so getting a Dinan IC would cut the costs down a little bit more before I go full balls to the wall.

But, my only grip is that it requires cutting of the inside of the bumper, to fit it in. I'm probably gonna get it done at my local dealership, but the only reason I'd get the wagner was cause it's just pure bolt on, no cutting required and cheaper while I wait to purchase the full P2 package at once.. and if I did, I'd probably sell the Wagner later on to get the Dinan.

What should I do?

You'll save 10% on the P2 package if you go with their IC and any potential problems will be covered under warranty. People bitch and moan about cutting the bumper. It's really not that labor intensive. As an added bonus, you're reducing weight from the vehicle

If your going to do the Dinan P2 package that seems to answer your question right there. You want to use the entire Dinan package so you have everything playing together nicely and under warranty. Personally I wouldn't do anything until the P2 package and then do everything at once, I am sure its the most cost effective way to go about doing this.

I started with the intake and exhaust before stage 4 was released. My dealer gave me 10% off of those components with a gentleman's agreement that I would eventually get the entire P2 package. Having a BMW dealer who's Dinan authorized makes a huge difference when going the Dinan route IMO. Without him, I may have chosen different aftermarket parts/tune.

Totally agree. my dealer is also a Dinan dealer, which gives me great comfort WRT warranty. They've never batted an eye even replacing my 6MT transmission on my 135 under BMW warranty (not Dinan) with stage 2 flash tune.
When I get my M2, other than Fabspeed cat, I plan to stick to BMW and Dinan parts.

I debated this same topic quite a while mostly because I didnt want to cut anything...

Once I got passed that blockage I went with the DINAN primarily because the surface area out weighed having to cut.

I have some pics on my thread comparing the DINAN side by side with the OEM.. And I have seen in data logs the difference the DINAN makes on hot days..

Don't they also have to cut some bars? I think that's the scariest part to me. It seems like that would affect the structure of the car. Other than the cutting, it does seem to be the best as far as cooling is concerned.

When you see the bar you then notice it affects no structural rigidity. It's a thin part to begin with. If you check the instructions they show the cut and the part that you are cutting is thin. Not a 1/2" or 1" bar.
