I wonder if they will be allowed to deliver HEA cars. Usually they are stored at port until official release.

Mine will be built soon too so hopefully they will deliver some cars before that so I can claim other cars are delivered so why can't I have mine?!

I was told by my Rep that my car was shipped on 1/30 and due in Port of Baltimore on 2/11. Said that how long it sits at port is unknown.

Rep told me that it will sit at the port until the government EPA regulation inspection checks are complete, which could take any number of weeks.

Are you tracking yours on bmwusa.com? I just tracked my AW today and it said it's complete and waiting to be shipped!

I'm excited....but also nervous. Hopefully I am making the right decision getting rid of the stripper VO 1M for a fully loaded AW M2! I hope the stiff, loud, no nonsense ride carries over to the M2!!!

I wish I could right now but the equity in the 1M makes for a very cheap brand new M2. It is going to be a sad day indeed.

No offense, but this sounds like a mistake.

I wouldn't get rid of a 1M to get a M2. I would get a M2 in addition to a 1M, but not as a replacement.

I would like to know why you think this though ? Do you think the driving dynamics will be worse? I know future value/resale will be better for the 1M but I'm not worried about that. I just hope this car will be as fun as the 1M and I guess the added creature comforts will be nice for a change. The M2 suspension should be miles better than the 1M, it will be faster...I just hope they didn't soften the car for the masses...

Mine is on the "Michigan Highway" a Japanese flagged auto carrier....enroute to Barcelona right now....who knows when it'll be in the US lol...

There was someone who knee a test driver, and said that the driver said he wouldn't get the M2 because it "drives far too aggressive" for his taste. So yeah. Replace it yolo.

Your car is on its way to your BMW Vehcile Preparation Center, typically adjacent to a port where the ship docks. This is the last stop before it is sent to your dealership or to the PDC.

The shipping process and time a the VPC is going to be a tough wait. I am pretty sure BMW will slow the process to match their launch date. Having said that I haven't even been able to place an order yet so I am envious.
