Why no front parking sensors?

I am sure it has to do with two factors, one the shape of the front bumper cover is not friendly to that technology and in trying to hit a target price the M folks likely decided that it wasn't an area that they wanted to put the money into developing. I am fine with their decision, not sure I will bother with the executive package so I may not have any sensors at all.
